  • For the brownies:
  • 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate chunks, divided
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour, sifted
  • 1/4 cup Valrhona cocoa powder, sifted
  • 2 teaspoons instant espresso granules
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons strong coffee
  • 1 tablespoon Maldon flaky sea salt
  • For the glaze:
  • 1 1/4 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant espresso granules
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons strong coffee
  • 1/4 cup dulce de leche
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
