- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, full fat)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- For the niter kibbeh:
- 1 pound unsalted butter (the best you can find)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
- 4 cloves
- 1 1/2 teaspoons fenugreek seeds
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, smashed
- 4 cardamom pods, smashed
- 1/2 teaspoon tumeric
