A healthy diet is an essential component of combating diabetes. A very widespread disease, it is estimated that nearly350 million people worldwide are diagnosed. Cannabis is proving to be useful in treating this disease, and combined with a proper diet, it makes for a powerful healing combination. This healing recipe has been designed to benefit those with diabetes and promote wellness.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 grapefruits (peeled)
  • 3 pears
  • 12 oz blueberries
  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon spirulina
  • 2 teaspoons cannabis-infused alcohol based tincture
  • Optional: coconut sugar for added sweetness

PREPARATION:

To begin, rinse all of the fruits and vegetables well.
If using a juicer which requires the chopping of the grapefruits, pears, or kale, do so now.
Next, run the grapefruits, pears, blueberries, kale and parsley through the juicer.
Then juice one lemon into a small bowl, removing any seeds, and pour it into the collection container holding the rest of the freshly-squeezed juice. Stir to combine.
Add in the spirulina and cannabis-infused tincture and give everything one final stir.
Serve immediately as is, or over ice, and enjoy!
