Last time, I gave you a full 3-course alkaline menu for Valentine’s Day to share with your special someone.

Today, I’ve got a Valentine’s treat you can give the kids without spoiling them with tons of sugar. Don’t worry, you don’t need to tell them it’s actually healthy for them.

No kids? You’ll enjoy this frozen dessert year around too. And because it’s alkaline, you can indulge guilt free.

Are you ready to give it a try? Share your reviews and photos of your family enjoying it over on Facebook.

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

family

2 bananas, frozen

3 tbsp. raw cacao powder

1 tbsp. raw almond butter

1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

Optional: 1 tbsp. chia seeds (sprinkle on top)

Optional: 1 tbsp. hemp seeds (sprinkle on top)

DIRECTIONS

Place bananas and cacao into your blender and blend while slowly adding the almond milk until you have the consistency of frozen yogurt. You may not use all 1/4 cup of almond milk. Sprinkle the seeds on top as desired and serve.
